TASK 2 - BUS/TRAI SHUTTLET TO LONDON

1. THE AIRPORT
  • Your plane has just landed in London but there are five major airports in London. Which are you in?
The airport that we have just landed is Stansted.

  • After you get off the plane you see three signs. Where do you go?
First of all we must go to Departures, that’s the most important thing to do at that moment, leave the rest for after.

  • Now you need to find your bags and suitcases. Where do you go?
We must go to the Baggage Reclaim, where we must wait there a while for the baggage to come out, and then we’ll be able to get our baggage.

2. AIRPORT TRANSFER

To get to the center of London from the airport is very easy. You can go by bus, train or taxi. Which is the best option?

We see that the best and cheapest method way of transport is the bus.
We go to the airport coach station that is located in front of the terminal forecourt. We buy the tickets at the coach desk inside the terminal or on the bus.
It’s at the airbus route A6 serves Victoria Coach Station in central London from Stansted Airport. They operate roughly every 30 minutes, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Journey time depending on traffic is around 1hr 40 minutes.

Price: £7 one-way; £10 return/round trip.
